A beautiful vintage micro mosaic pendant featuring exceptionally fine micro micro tesserae work — composed of tiny hand-set glass pieces forming a richly detailed floral design at the centre.
The round pendant displays a classic micro mosaic bouquet motif with a vivid red-orange flower at its heart, accented with green leaves, ivory and cream tesserae, and delicate surrounding detail. The outer border features decorative segmented panels in soft pink, white and deep blue scroll motifs, all framed by a rope-style gilt tone edge.
The mosaic pieces are notably small and tightly set, giving the surface wonderful texture and craftsmanship when viewed closely — a lovely example of traditional Italian-style micro mosaic work.
The reverse is smooth metal with a fixed top loop, ready to wear on a chain or ribbon.
