A beautifully aged English silver plated entrée dish by MANCO (William James Myatt & Co. Ltd, Birmingham), dating to the Art Deco / early mid-century period, circa 1929–1947.
This elegant covered serving dish features delicate beaded edging, a warm brass-toned knop handle and authentic timeworn patina throughout, giving it a wonderfully collected English country house aesthetic.
Stamped to the underside:
“MANCO REGD ELECTROPLATE MADE IN ENGLAND”
Originally designed as an entrée serving dish for vegetables, sides or warm table service, this piece now works beautifully styled within traditional kitchens, layered dining tables, open shelving or vintage-inspired interiors.
A truly decorative yet usable antique-style piece with lovely age and character.
Approx measurements:
• 16cm x 13cm
• Approx 3cm high to top of handle
